I was so excited to find out, there was a duck donuts close to me. I decided to go and get some donuts this past Friday, and to my surprise they were not what I expected. I don’t know if they changed the recipe or what but the donuts I received were thick, and cake like. They also had too much icing. Last time I had a duck donuts, I remember their donuts, being light and airy, but that was not the case. They were hard and dense. For them to be made fresh, it didn’t seem like it. I was not happy that I paid $13 and something for half a dozen.

I go to every donut shop when I first hear about them. I love them so much. But when I came in here and ordered everything looked great. Then I had to pay $19 and change for 4 donuts, a coffee and a frappe. A little high, but hey, let’s try these donuts!!! Got 2 boxes for 4 donuts and opened them. 2 TINY donuts in each box. Taste good. But I am not rich and I could have got A LOT more for less money at Jupiter donuts or Luke’s donuts. The price is not everything, but if I do spend a lot I want to NOT regret it. Coffee was normal. Frappe was not that good. I don’t know if it is cost of everything going up or what… this may just be a terrible time to be in the snack business because I can’t even afford snacks at the grocery store anymore, never mind ordering in a shop. My goal is not to discourage customers because prices at Jupiter and Luke’s may have skyrocketed too. But I am finding myself priced out of life’s little luxuries and I will remove this review if I go to Luke’s or Jupiter and feel the same.

Happy I found this place. Fresh gourmand donuts with a lot of flavors to choose from and friendly staff. Perfect for a sweet birthday treat!

I was the first customer to walk in and order. Got there right at 7:00am. It is now 7:40 my order is not ready and I am sure it’s not going to be ready until almost 8. A whole hour are you kidding me!! The worker says there were online orders ahead of me. It’s a holiday and you’re telling me you’re going to under staff your business, this is so unacceptable. There is only 1 guy working. I never write reviews but this is such Terrible service. How is this guy not wearing a hair net. His hair is so wild and uncontained that it looks unsanitary for anyone working around food without a hair net.

Had seen coupons for this place but I had never stopped in and just happened to be passing by. Walking in I was greeted by two younger employees and there was a beautiful screen on the side that had all the pictures of some of the donuts. The girl explain to me they had a booklet there that had even more donuts all with nice visual pictures. I got a maple and bacon one called Bacon in the Sun and couldn't believe when she rang me up for $2.50 for this donut! I was expecting to pray $4 to $8 like the highly priced Crumbl cookies. This one was very sweet and you could definitely share it with a friend. Highly recommend this place to family and friends if they were in the neighborhood, can't beat that price plus they do catering and fundraisers as well! Stop in if you get a chance, they said this business has started in January and I'm glad to see it is the end of the year and they are still in business and with these prices should be very successful!! Also worth noting there is a Pet Surplus Plus pet store right next door in case you need to get any pet supplies.
